Live forecasts update automatically; written guidance last reviewed 16 June 2026 by the True North Brief Weather Desk. Data from Environment and Climate Change Canada and other national met services via Open-Meteo.

The live forecast above shows the current temperature, wind speed, humidity, and precipitation probability for your location. Across Canada, conditions vary widely, so the numbers tell you exactly what to expect today.

How to read the live forecast

Temperature is in degrees Celsius, wind speed in kilometres per hour, and humidity as a percentage. The “feels like” value combines wind chill in winter and humidex in summer – it’s what your skin actually experiences. UV index runs from 0 (low) to 11+ (extreme); check Health Canada’s guidance when it’s 3 or higher. Precipitation chance is given as a percentage; anything above 40% means you should plan for rain or snow.

How accurate are 14‑day and 10‑day forecasts?

Forecasts beyond 7 days have lower confidence but are useful for trends. Environment Canada’s 10‑day outlook for Ottawa and Toronto is updated daily, and the 14‑day Toronto forecast relies on model ensembles. Always confirm with the live forecast above near your travel date.

What does “feels like” temperature actually mean?

It’s the combined effect of temperature, wind chill (below 0°C) or humidex (above 20°C). In winter, wind chill can make -10°C feel like -20°C. In summer, humidex can push 30°C to feel like 40°C. The live forecast above includes this adjustment.
